Barack Hussein Obama's Cairo Speech

"President" Obama's speech to the Islamic world in Cairo, Egypt on June 2nd showed his true intentions toward God's chosen earthly nation, Israel. He called for a sweeping change in Muslim-American relations based on the establishment of a Palestinian Authority state. Obama told the 3,000 guests at Cairo University that he will put pressure on the Palestinian Authority to stop terror, and concerning Israel he made it perfectly clear that he would personally pressure for an end to the "occupation" that he said has caused displacement to the Arab population in Israel for 60 years. [1]

Obama opened his speech with the Islamic greeting, "Peace be unto you" in Arabic and reminded his listeners of his Muslim background. This was something he went to great length to conceal from the American people during his campaign. He quoted the Quran several times in his speech, stating that it says, "Be conscious of god and speak always the truth", and goes on to praised Islam as a force of "religious tolerance and racial equality," and said that since the founding of America "Muslims have enriched the United States."

For Obama to say that Islam teaches "religious tolerance" is a total falsehood and mere lip service. From it's beginning Islam has never been tolerant of other religions. Quite the contrary, the Quran and the Hadith teach Muslims not to tolerate other religions. History shows that Muslims who truly follow the teachings of Islam severely persecute those who do not follow Islam. [2] In 1937, a decade before the rebirth of Israel, Saudi Arabia's King Ibn Saud explained that the Muslim's hatred of Jews is based on the Quran. Thus, "for a Moslem to kill a Jew ... ensures him an immediate entry into Heaven.'' When Hitler introduced the Nuremberg racial laws against the Jews in 1935, he received telegrams of congratulation from all corners of the Arab world. [3] So much for the fable of the Islamic Arab's religious tolerance and racial equality. Nothing has change.

Obama's claim that Islam teaches "racial equality" is also false. In the Quran in Sura 3:106-107 it says of Blacks that "... on Judgment Day, only people with white faces will be saved. People with black faces will be damned." The most authoritative of the Hadiths is Sahih Bukhari which says, “The Prophet said, ‘Let the Negro slave of Dinar perish. And if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him. ... If he asks for anything it shall not be granted, and if he needs intercession, his intercession will be denied.’” [4] So much for Islamic "racial equality."

Concerning Obama's statement that "Muslims have enriched the United States" since it's founding: It might be better said that "Muslims enriched themselves on the United States from its founding. Once well-known in the history of the United States, but now mostly forgotten is the fact the Muslim pirate slavers who over the course of 10 centuries enslaved millions of Africans and tens of thousands of Europeans and Americans in the Islamic Barbary states. Initially American had no Navy for the protection of merchant ships in the Mediterranean. Ships were attacked and their crews enslaved by the Muslim pirates operating under the control of the "Dey of Algiers"--an Islamist warlord ruling Algeria. Because American commerce in the Mediterranean was being destroyed the Continental Congress agreed in 1784 to negotiate treaties with the Barbary States of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Tripoli. Congress appointed a special commission consisting of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin, to oversee the negotiations. In 1786, Jefferson, then the American ambassador to France, and Adams, then the American ambassador to Britain, met in London with the Dey of Algiers' ambassador to Britain, Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, to negotiate a peace treaty based on Congress' vote to appease. During the meeting Jefferson and Adams asked the Dey's ambassador why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts. Jefferson and Adams later reported to the American Congress that the Ambassador had answered that Islam "was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Muslim who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise." For 15 years America paid the Muslims millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships and for the return of American hostages. The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800. However, not long after Jefferson's inauguration as president in 1801, he dispatched a group of frigates to defend American interests in the Mediterranean, and informed Congress that America was going to spend "millions for defense but not one cent for tribute," Jefferson pressed the issue by deploying American Marines and many of America's best warships to the Muslim Barbary Coast. In 1805, American Marines marched across the desert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves. The Muslim Barbary States crumbled as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines. Finally in 1815 the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates and they officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy. The victory inspired the line of the Marine Hymn that says, "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, We fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea." [5]

However, Obama stated, "I also know that Islam has always been a part of America's story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President, John Adams, wrote, 'The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims.' ... And when the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers -- Thomas Jefferson -- kept in his personal library." This is revisionist history, and we know why Jefferson had a copy of the Quran! [6]

Immediately after referring to the persecution the Jewish people for centuries which "culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust" Obama said, "On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people -- Muslims and Christians -- have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than 60 years they've endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations -- large and small -- that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. And America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own." This comparison of apples with oranges is a blatant attempt to blame Israel for the situation of the Arabs in Israel find them selves. The leadership of Islamic Iran and the Islamic Arab nations are merely using the Arab refugee problem as a bargaining chip. The Arabs who still "wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands" are intentionally being used as pawns by the Islamic nations. These Arab nations, not counting Iran, have a combined land mass that totals 1,497,838 square miles as opposed to Israel's 8,019 square miles. The Arabs in the land of Israel including the West Bank and Gaza may be in an "intolerable" situation, but let us put the blame where it belongs: Squarely on the backs of the Arab nations who are using them as pons in their war against the people of Israel. The Arab nations created the problems and sufferings of the Arabs located in Israel, and they perpetuate their problems and sufferings by not assimilating them into their many nations. The Arabs of that land had an opportunity to have a west bank Arab nation, but they rejected it from the beginning, because of their unfounded hatred of the Jewish people. On November 29, 1947, the newly created United Nations approved a Plan (Resolution 181) to divide Palestine into two states, one Arab and one Jewish. Jerusalem was to be designated an international city and was to be administered by the United Nations. The Jewish community accepted the plan, but the Arab League and Arab Higher Committee rejected it. Then when Israel declared its independence on May 14, 1948 all the neighboring Arab states attacked the new nation the very next day. Troops from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia attacked tiny Israel, but she repelled them and increased her territory slightly in battle. In 1949, Israel signed separate armistices with Egypt on 24 February, Lebanon on 23 March, Jordan on 3 April, and Syria on 20 July. During the war around 750,000 Arabs fled to the Arab nations, and about the same number of Jews from Arab lands fled to Israel and were assimilated into the new reestablished nation of Israel. Not so with the Arab refugees. Hitler and his Nazis did their best to exterminate the Jews of the Holocaust, and the Arab nations of that time were happy about it. Likewise when Israel declared it's independence in 1948 the combined forces of most of the Arab world again made a concerted effort to annihilate the tiny nation of Israel. There is no comparison between the Jews of the Holocaust and the Arabs in refugee camps today. Nothing in the attitude of Islamic Arabs has changed from since before the reestablishment of Israel. Furthermore, let it be clearly understood that Muslims in the West Bank and Gaza persecute the Arab Christians there also.

Obama said the Israeli "occupation" of the the West Bank, as if it is not legitimately theirs, must end with an Arab "state of their own." Another Arab state sworn to the destruction of Israel! How absurd! The Arabs have proven over and over that land for peace does not work. He did not specifically state whether Jerusalem neighborhoods are part of the "occupation" that he said must end.

Obama's only reference to Jerusalem was a quote from the Koran that describes Moses, Jesus and Mohammed joining together in prayer "... when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together ..." From this Koranic interpretation it is obvious that Obama does not believe that Jerusalem is now secure and welcomes all peoples, but is a goal to be achieved. Obama is confusing the pre-1967 Jerusalem with the Jerusalem of today. Before Israel unified Jerusalem Jews were prohibited from entering and Christians were restricted. From 1948 until 1967, it was ruled by Muslims who ejected Jews from their homes, and destroyed practically any remnant of the Jewish community that thrived there prior to 1948. Since 1967, Jerusalem has been a secure home for Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

The Middle East conflict will be ended by Jesus Christ, and when that takes place everyone will know Him as Lord and Saviour, and that the Messianic Age has come. In the meantime, if the same old “Land for Peace” program that has characterized all previous plans is to be dusted off and reasserted, the conflict will certainly go from bad to worse. God has clearly stated that He will not stand for it in His Holy Word in Joel 3:2: "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land." This will occur during Great Tribulation when God judges the nations that are persecuting Israel during that time. The word "plead" in the verse is defined thusly: "To offer reasons for or against something; argue earnestly; provide an argument or appeal." The Hebrew word is found 203 times in the Old Testament and is translated "judge" 179 of those times. God says He will plead with the nations because they "parted My Land." God is speaking of the "Land" that He gave to His covenant people, Israel. God said the following to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and to all their seed: To Abraham; "And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him." (Genesis 17:19) To Isaac: "Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father." (Genesis 26:3) To Jacob: "... I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed." (Genesis 28:13) To Moses: "And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers." (Deuteronomy 30:5) To the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: "Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it." (Psalm 105:9-12) Land for peace is a stench in the nostrils of God, and those who advocate it will find themselves fighting against God. For God says: "Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them." (Jermeriah 12:14) "I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts." (Zephaniah 2:8-10) God has always known that they would conspire against Him and His covenant people, for it is recorded in His Holy and True Word: "Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah." (Psalm 83:1-8) These usurpers and all that help them against God's covenant nation must repent of their evil deeds or God will most certainly punish them. "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south." (Zecheriah 14:1-4)

Obama's speech specifically defined the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza as the "Palestinian people," as if the Jews have no historical claim to the land that God gave to their ancestors. There was a major Hebrew presence in the Land of Israel with the exception of the 70 year Babylonian Captivity which began in 606 BC (Jeremiah 25:11-12, 29:10; Daniel 9:2) up until the Great Jewish Revolt against the Roman occupation in 66 - 73 AD which resulted in the destruction of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD fulfilling the Lord Jesus Christ's prophecy (Matthew 23:37-39, 24:1-2; Luke 21:5-6). Jerusalem was sacked by the Roman army led by Titus Flavius and an estimated 600,000 to 1,300,000 Jews were slaughtered and most of the rest were taken into captivity. The name "Palestine" comes, via Greek and Latin, from the Philistines and this name was given to the lands by the Romans around 135 AD when Emperor Hadrian brutally suppressed the last Jewish Resistance movement and occupied Judea. They called it the Province of Syria Palaestina and built a temple to Jupiter on Israel's destroyed holiest site. It was an attempt to erase all memory of Israel from the face of the earth. There was no Arab "Palestinian people" until Yasser Arafat invented the idea to use as a chip in the game of exterminating Israel. There is no distinct Palestinian cultural or national identity. On March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published this statements made by PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan." The "Palestinian people" already have "a state of their own," Jordan!

Finally, concerning Iran, Obama asserted that it can have nuclear power if it abides by international treaties. He did not spell out any specific measures to convince Tehran to end its current policy of non-cooperation with international inspectors while it continues to reach nuclear capability by enriching uranium, a key element for a nuclear weapon. Iran has never abided by anything, and will pose a threat to Israel with nuclear weapons. Russia continues to aid Iran in their quest for the bomb. All this is leading toward the fulfillment of what the Jewish prophets predicted would happen in the last days. Ezekiel Chapter 38 tells us that Iran will join forces with Russia (which has more than 50 million Muslims), and an Islamic coalition of many nations to invade Israel in the last days.

We are living in bitter-sweet times. Sweet and exciting because the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled before our very eyes. Jesus is coming soon! Bitter and sad because of the increased wickedness in the world and that so many people are blinded by the God of this world and reject what is true and right. The Word of God says: "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." (James 1:21) "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:3-6) The Lord is allowing just a little more time for the last few souls to repent and receive Christ. "The Lord is ... longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) Repent and trust Christ before it is eternally to late!

The annual report of Israel’s domestic intelligence service, Shin Bet, paints a troubling picture of a Hamas-ruled government in Gaza expanding its efforts to build a war machine capable of taking on Israel in full-scale military combat, with active input from Iran and Syria.

In the outgoing year, Hamas and its allies fired more than 1.300 Qassam missiles and 1,700 mortar shells from Gaza, subjecting Israeli communities in an expanding radius to a daily average of 8.2 projectiles. At the same time, the ShinShin BetBet and IDF were strikingly successful in their preventive campaign. They thwarted 29 major attacks inside Israel originating in Gaza, and the number of Israelis killed by terrorists declined from 50 in 2005 and 24 in 2006 to 13 in 2007.

Nonetheless, the Palestinians mounted a total of 2,946 Palestinian terrorist attacks, 9 less than 2006, including a single suicide bombing in Eilat and another three that were intercepted in time.

No let-up is expected next year. In 2007, Hamas smuggled into Gaza more than 80 tons of explosives for use in the fabrication of missiles and bombs, including roadside devices laid down against an Israeli military incursion. Al Qaeda and its Palestinian affiliates recently stepped up their participation in attacks, more conspicuously since Fatah al Islam set up operations in Gaza after being thrown out of its northern haven in Lebanon four months ago. Israeli officials said that Osama bin Laden’s threat to “liberate every inch of Palestine” is being taken seriously.

The ShinShin BetBet reports that hundreds of Hamas operatives were smuggled through the Sinai tunnels out to Iran and Syria and back for special 2-6 month courses at facilities near Tehran and Damascus in commando combat and the manufacture and launching of missiles. Among them were officers and naval commandos.

The ShinShin BetBet report notes that Hamas’ smuggling projects spread out from Gaza to the West Bank, where a new terror machine is taking shape. Local terrorist elements are being taught to manufacture and use Qassam missiles and high-trajectory weapons, thereby bringing Israel’s central coastal cities, including Tel Aviv, within range. Scores of West Bank Hamas activitists were also sent to Iran and Syria to study missile manufacture.

During most of 2007, Iran’s Lebanese surrogate, Hizballah, funded the West Bank project at the rate of the equivalent of $10 million per month. The transfers slowed in recent months. The ShinShin BetBet reports that Hizballah is diverting more funds to building its own substantial new infrastructures in SouthSouth LebanonLebanon and north of the LitaniLitani RiverRiver.

Sons of God (Genesis 6)

Genesis 6:1-4 "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown ."

We see here the marriage between "sons of God" and "daughter of men." Every one who is familiar with the Bible knows there are two "schools of thought" on Genesis 6. Some say that the " sons of God" are angels, and the other say they are men from the "godly line of Seth" (see Scofield Bible notes for Gen 6:4). There is another group that says "sons of God" are "tyrant rulers" or noble men of the day. Similarly, the first group says that the " daughters of men" are just the "daughters of MEN", but the other group says that they are "daughters of the godless line of Cain." For some it does not matter. We should remember that God did not give every detail in His Scripture "just like that." Do ye think that the scripture SAITH in VAIN"? (James 4:5). Given the fact that "EVERY WORD of God is PURE" (Prov 30:6), and "EVERY IDLE WORD that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment " (Mat 12:36), how can any one think that it does not matter who the "sons of God" were?

We teach that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 were ANGELS. This is not merely our opinion. This is what the Bible teaches. This is NOT a topic which can be ignored as "non-essential." This matters a lot, because the Lord Jesus warned us, " But as the DAYS OF NOE were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be" (Mat 24:37; Luke 17:26). Any proper study of prophecy regarding the second coming of our Lord without considering the "days of Noe" would be incomplete. The following are the common objections made by some people when we teach " sons of God" are angels:

a. Scofield notes – "Angels are spoken of in a sexless way. No female angels are mentioned in Scripture, and we are expressly told that marriage is unknown among angels. Mat 22:30."

b. Scofield notes - "It is asserted that the title (i.e., sons of God) is in the O.T. exclusively used of angels. But this is an error Isa 43:6." Some people also use Deut 14:1; Ps 82:6 for this purpose.

The following points address these two and other objections, while establishing that "sons of God " are indeed angels.

1. Just because some people fail to understand how there could be an intermarriage between angels and women, does not give him a licence to twist the word of God, or generate private interpretations from THIN AIR, saying "godly line of Seth," "tyrant rulers" etc. These "theories" are the examples of " handling the word of God deceitfully" (2 Cor 4:2).

2. In Gen 6:1-2, the "sons of God " are clearly contrasted from "daughters of men." They were NOT "sons of MEN." That is plain in the text. In the Holy Scriptures, the phrase "sons of God" always refers to the ANGELS (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7) before MEN started BECOMING the " sons of God" according to John 1:12 (see Romans 8:14,19; Phil 2:15; 1John 3:1-2). The objections taken by some for limiting the term "sons of God" to the angels in OT will be dealt soon.

3. There is a direct reference to the angels of Gen 6 in 2 Peter. " God spared not the ANGELS THAT SINNED, but cast them down to HELL, and delivered them into CHAINS OF DARKNESS, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, BRINGING IN THE FLOOD upon the world of the UNGODLY " (2 Peter 2:4-5). The text is very clear. The Lord punished the "angels that sinned" by sending them "into chains of darkness," but the giant men and other ungoldly men were punished by the flood. Only 8 persons, Noah and family were saved. The whole context in 2 Peter 2 is how the Lord punished the unjust and delivered the just – and the unjust were walking " after the flesh in the LUST of uncleanness" and "having eyes full of ADULTERY, and that cannot cease from sin" (verses 10 and 14). Verse 4 is angels sin. Verse 5 is the sins of men who intermingled with them. Verse 6 is the sin of Sodomy. All the sins are similar – lust, uncleanness and adultery (as in verse 10).

4. These "angels that sinned " (2 Peter 2:4) are seen again in Jude 1:6, please see the similarity. "And the ANGELS which KEPT NOT THEIR FIRST ESTATE, but LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. EVEN AS Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them IN LIKE MANNER, giving themselves over to FORNICATION, and going after STRANGE FLESH, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire " (Jude 1:6-7). The sin of the angels was IN LIKE MANNER with the sin of Sodom and Gomorrha. The context is again FORNICATION, and ANGELS are mentioned here again, as in 2 Peter 2. The "like manner" is "strange flesh ." Angels marrying women in Gen 6, and men marrying men in Gen 19, are the unions of "strange flesh."

5. While the Holy Scriptures called them " UNGODLY," upon whom the flood came (2 Peter 2:5), how could any one call the "sons of God" as men in the GODLY line of Seth? unless he is TWISTING the Scriptures?

6. In Mark 12:25 (also Mat 22:30) we read, " when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are AS THE ANGELS which are IN HEAVEN." The resurrected people will not marry, nor given in marriage. They will be AS the angels which are in HEAVEN. Now angels in HEAVEN do not marry, nor are given in marriage. Because, they are all MEN. There are no FEMALE angels in the Bible. All angels in the Bible are MEN. They DO NOT marry. It is NOT said they CANNOT marry. They do not marry because they are all MEN. Further, the angels we are talking about are NOT the angels in HEAVEN. We are talking about " the ANGELS which KEPT NOT THEIR FIRST ESTATE, but LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION." These angels LEFT the heaven. Don't think that angels are spirits ONLY. They SIT (Judges 6:11), they have HANDS and "feet," and they " ate" (Gen 18). They appearance like MEN is so real that the men of Sodom came to commit sin with them (Gen 19:1-5). Manna was called "angel's food" (Ps 78:25). The Lord surely "maketh his angels spirits " (Heb 1:7), but they are NOT spirits ONLY.

7. Here is the list of the SPIRITS that are NOT angels. Lev 20:27; Num 5:14; Judg 9:23; 1 Sam 16:14-15; 1 Sam 28:7; 1 Kings 22:19-23; Job 4:15; Isa 19:14; Mark 9:25; Luke 4:33 etc. " For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither ANGEL, nor SPIRIT: but the Pharisees confess both" (Acts 23:8). Pharisees replied, "if a spirit OR an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God " (v.9). Notice how clearly the ANGELS and SPIRITS are distinguished. The Lord surely "maketh his angels spirits" (Heb 1:7), but they are NOT spirits ONLY.

8. The phrase "sons of God" always referred to the ANGELS (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7) before MEN started BECOMING the " sons of God" according to John 1:12 (see Romans 8:14,19; Phil 2:15; 1John 3:1-2).

9. There is not ONE MAN before the first coming of the Lord Jesus, that was ever a " son of God" except ADAM. Adam was a "son of God" because he was directly created by God (Luke 3:38). The Lord Jesus was called the "Son of God" because, his conception was brought about by the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35). After the Lord Jesus came into this world, He gave POWER to BECOME the " sons of God" to those who believe on His NAME (John 1:12).

10. No group of people in the OT could ever BECOME " sons of God" according to John 1:12 because, no man in the OT ever believed on the name JESUS (John 20:31; 1 John 3:23; Phil 2:10), because no man ever KNEW that name. That name was kept SECRET until it was revealed to Jospeh (Gen 32:29; Judges 13:17,18; Prov 30:4; Mat 1:21).

11. The only way for a MAN (and women too) to BECOME a " son of God" is to believe on the name of JESUS (John 1:12; 20:31; 1 John 3:23; Phil 2:10). There is NO OTHER WAY - and NONE OTHER NAME (Acts 4:2).

12. The "children of the LORD" (Deut 14:1) were the children of Israel. They were never called " sons of God." What are you going to prove with this reference? In Acts 17:29, Paul told the men of Athens, "we are the offspring of God." That's not going to prove any thing. We are talking about the TITLE, " the SONS of God." Not CHILDREN.

13. The "children of the most High " (Ps 82:6) were "gods" and NOT men. The Lord told them that they will "die LIKE men" (Ps 82:7). These were the same the Lord referred to in John 10:34. And they were NOT men. Not JUDGES!!!

14. The "sons" and "daughters " in Isa 43:6 will be SONS and DAUGHTERS at a FUTURE date. Isa 43:6 is a prophecy concerning Israel which is not yet fulfilled. Further, there was no ISRAEL present in Genesis 6. And until Gen 6, no one was ever termed as a " son of God" except Adam, please read Luke 3:23-38.

15. The "daughters of men" were clearly the "daughters of MEN" as we could see in the context of Gen 6:1-2, where MEN began to multiply, and daughters were born unto THEM. They were not merely from Cain's ungodly line.

16. There were no "daughters" of Cain mentioned anywhere before Gen 6. There is only ONE daughter – Naamah, the sister of Tubalcain (Gen 4:22) – mentioned in Cain's line. And as a matter of fact, all the " daughters" mentioned in the Bible BEFORE Genesis 6 are the daughters of Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, and Lamech (Gen 5:4-30) – and none of them are in Cain's line.

17. The Bible SAYS, "There were GIANTS in the earth in those days; AND ALSO AFTER that, WHEN the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them " (Gen 6:4). The word WHEN tells us the CAUSE of the birth of giants. How could GIANTS be born if the sons of God were HUMAN?

18. There were giants "also after that " – after the flood (Nu 13:33; Deut 2:11,20; 3:11,13; Josh 12:4; 13:12; 15:8; 17:15; 18:16; 2Sam 21:16,18,20,22; 1Chr 20:4,6,8). The children of Israel were like GRASSHOPPERS before them. How could such gigantic men be born to normal humans? Events similar to Gen 6 happened after the flood. That's what Gen 6:4 says. " Only Og king of Bashan remained of the REMNANT OF GIANTS" (Deut 3:11), and he was killed by the children of Israel before they crossed Jordan. Og's bed size was 13.5 feet by 6 feet (taking a cubit as 1.5 feet). Giving a total margin of 1.5 feet at the head and the legs, Og's height could have been atleast 12 feet easily. Imagine that – a six feet man standing over another six feet man. He was a GIANT. This is a conservative estimate. If we make a cubit as 22 inches, Og could then have been easily 15 feet tall. The last 4 that were " born unto the giant in Gath" were killed by David's men (1 Chr 20:8). There is NO reference to the giants thereafter in the Bible.

19. There is another passage in the Bible that talks about the judgement of the angels in Genesis 6. The Lord said, " I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die LIKE men, and fall like one of the princes" (Ps 82:6-7). Notice the context, the Lord "judgeth among the gods." These " gods" were the "children of the most High" in the sense that He made them. But they shall die LIKE men. They are NOT men. These "gods" were the "devils" ( Deut 32:17). These "gods" were told to worship the Lord (Ps 97:7). When Satan temped Eve in the garden of Eden, he said, " ye shall be as gods" (Gen 3:5). Because "the gods are COME DOWN … in the LIKENESS OF MEN" (Acts 14:11) in Genesis 6, and corrupted the seed of men, the Lord JUDGED them. He put them in the "chains of darkness " (2 Pet 2:11; Jude 1:6). And the Lord Jesus "went and preached unto the spirits in PRISON; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing " (1 Peter 3:19-20). The Lord Jesus said that the "word of God came" unto these "gods" (John 10:35). This word is the word of judgement. The Lord said, "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die LIKE men, and fall like one of the princes " (Ps 82:6-7).

This phenomenon of Genesis 6 is NOT isolated in the Scriptures. It will be repeated in the TRIBULATION. The Lord Jesus had warned that the days before His second coming will be like the " days of Noe" and the "days of Lot" (Luke 17:26, 28). In both these times there was a union on "STRANGE flesh" as described by Jude 1:6-7. It will be repeated AGAIN, as prophesied by the prophet DANIEL. Read the following text:

"And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, THEY SHALL MINGLE THEMSELVES WITH THE SEED OF MEN: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay ." (Da 2:41-43).

The last and fifth kingdom is a strange kingdom in Nebuchadnezzar's dream. The fourth iron kingdom (Dan 2:40) will be divided, and the resultant kingdom will be a mixed, yet unmixed IRON and CLAY. Read that sentence, " THEY shall mingle themselves with the SEED OF MEN." The Family Bible Notes (FBN) says, "with MEN OF ANOTHER SORT, making a mixture that cannot be united into one whole." Why? Are n't all sorts of men mingled together in the world now? Are there not " mixt multitute" NOW? Some commentators make silly interpretations. They just fail to READ the Bible. It says, "THEY shall mingle themselves with the SEED OF MEN." Who are the "THEY"? Whoever they are, they mingle themselves with the " seed of men." So "THEY" are NOT the "seed of men." Now "they" are compared to IRON, while the "seed of men" are compared to CLAY. So whoever "they" were, their STRENGTH was like IRON, while the strength of the " seed of men" was like CLAY. You can guess who "THEY" are!!! Now don't come and tell us about the godly and ungoldy lines here – and Jamieson Faussett Brown do that exactly! People who could not handle Genesis 6, how do you think they could swallow these words? These will be "hard sayings" for them for sure.

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years ." This may look like pulling it too long, but observe the phrase "he ALSO is flesh." Please note, the text does not say, "he is flesh ALSO," nor does it say "he is ALSO flesh," in the sense that apart from being a spirit, the man is flesh ALSO. But the text says, " he ALSO is flesh." The emphasis of this phrase is "he ALSO" rather than "flesh ALSO," and this brings up an immediate question, "Who ELSE is flesh?" The answer for this question alludes to the fact stated by Jude in his epistle about " the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation." They came "in the LIKENESS OF MEN" (Acts 14:11). As for the FLESH we read, "For the FLESH LUSTETH against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would " (Gal 5:17). And the exhortation we have is this, "Therefore, brethren, we are DEBTORS, NOT TO THE FLESH, to live after the flesh" (Rom 8:12). See how flesh works, "Now the WORKS OF THE FLESH are manifest, which are these; ADULTERY, FORNICATION, uncleanness, lasciviousness … " (Gal 5:19). The works of the flesh do not start with "Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred …" They start with ADULTERY, FORNICATION. "FLEE FORNICATION. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth AGAINST HIS OWN BODY. What? know ye not that YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For YE ARE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, WHICH ARE GOD'S " (1 Cor 6:18).
